Primary Job Function: The Sourcing Manager’s role is to develop and execute a Low Cost Country strategic sourcing strategy that delivers competitive advantage in the key areas of cost, quality, technology, delivery and responsiveness for internal partners and external customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic sourcing consulting to clients including development of the spend cube, creation of the RF(x), and guidance in the negotiation process
- Identify and qualify alternate suppliers
- Create and implement formal processes to embed strategic sourcing within the client organization
- Gather and analyze data to identify strategy, operations and technology requirements and process improvements
- Work in a self-directed environment with cross-functional procurement and sourcing teams
