- Sourcing Analyst

We are currently seeking individuals to bring into our PAS practice in the role of Sourcing Analyst. Sourcing Analysts bring with them strong business acumen, significant analytical abilities and a deep passion for solving complicated problems. Sourcing Analysts consistently deliver impactful results in support of our clients and our project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, manipulate, cleanse and validate data from a variety of sources and platforms
- Develop and refresh supply market analysis for key categories
- Support the customer category team in developing a supplier communications plan in support of Sourcing strategy
- Supplier identification, outreach and site visits
- Validate and analyze bids and supplier offers
- Support benefits estimation and documentation
- Use PowerPoint to document and present project findings and business requirements
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or Engineering from a top academic institution is preferred
- GPA 3.3 or above is required
- Experience in Excel, Access or SQL server preferred
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and work ethic
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- International Experience is highly valued
- Previous strategic sourcing in the China market and/or consulting is a plus
- Strong communication and analytical skills in both Chinese and English
- Willingness to travel extensively if required by project
We currently have openings in our Shanghai office. Projects may be Shanghai, China or Asia Pacific based. Depending on the location of the client, the position may require up to 100% travel.

Sourcing Associates bring with them strong business acumen, significant analytical abilities and a deep passion for supply chain management challenges. Sourcing Associates manage categories and complicated work streams independently and consistently deliver impactful results in support of our clients and our project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the overall strategy for a given work stream, including RFI/P development and execution, supplier response analysis, negotiation and sourcing strategy implementation
- Lead the customer category team in developing a supplier communications plan in support of Sourcing strategy
- Create eRFPs, auctions and practice auctions, and manage RFx and/or on-site auctions/negotiations
- Drive the internal and external category team to provide timely, high-quality data deliverables
- Conduct supplier orientation and training on the Sourcing process
- Develop formal PowerPoint presentations for clients to update status and review project results
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree minimum, Masters degree in Business with a supply chain or supply management from a top academic institution highly preferred
- A minimum of 3-5 years supply chain or procurement experience with a top tier organization
- International Experience is highly valued
- Ability to use Excel/Access to develop pricing models/ market baskets and analyze spend data/ supplier responses
- Demonstrate mature attitude and ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Previous strategic sourcing and/or consulting experience is desired
- Ability to travel to client and/or supplier site when required
- Experience in supplier identification and supplier site visit in the China market is highly desired
- Demonstrated and superior project management skills (specifically in managing multiple projects) is preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills in both Chinese and English

- Sourcing Manager
Sourcing Managers bring with them strong business acumen, significant analytical abilities and a deep passion for supply chain management challenges. Sourcing Managers manage multiple categories and work streams as well as more junior team members while consistently delivering impactful results in support of our clients and our project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic sourcing consulting to clients including diagnostic of procurement capabilities, development and implementation of complex sourcing strategies and transformation plans for large procurement organizations
- Create and implement formal processes to embed strategic sourcing within the client organization
- Identify strategy, operations and technology requirements and process improvements from data analysis
- Work in a self-directed environment with cross-functional procurement and sourcing teams
- Perform benchmarking and bid analysis based on market analysis and cost modeling
- Recommend actions to be taken by clients and assist clients in implementing those recommendations to ensure that measurable results are achieved and benefits are realized
- Lead and develop junior team members
- Actively seek to generate high level project deliverables for our clients and sophisticated internal intellectual capital in support of our future development
Qualifications and Required Experience:
- Master's degree with a supply management or business concentration from top tier academic institution preferred
- 5 to 7 years of full-time strategic sourcing experience in top global or consulting company
- Excellent problem solving skill
- Superior interpersonal and group facilitation skills
- Experience developing detailed total cost models is required
- International experience is highly desired
- Strong negotiation skills/ successful experience with Asia sourcing
- Demonstrated success leading projects and working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Experience in developing and executing RF(x)
- Experience in supplier qualification, plant visit, and supplier development
- Proficient in Excel/Access skills is required
- Strong communication and analytical skills in both Chinese and English
- Familiar with Customs related laws, regulations and operations in China and have a good understanding of international customs related laws and regulations is a plus
